Smores!


Believe it or not, I bought the ingredients for smores back during the summer.  We never had time to go camping and use them.  So, we decided that we could use our fireplace as a campfire.  The kids LOVED it.  The fire was pretty hot and since I just had the one fork for roasting, Luke quickly became the marshmallow "cooker"-his word.  Avery mostly ate the chocolate and left the crackers and marshmallows for Freddie.  Freddie only wanted the marshmallows.  Freddie asked Luke if he looked like a beaver, since Luke kept giving him marshmallows with pieces of charred wood stuck to them ;)

First attempt--slightly well-done!
