Socks!!

We had planned to put the Christmas tree up last weekend, but ran out of time. So, I promised Luke that we would put it up on Monday night after work. Well, when we got home from work on Monday, UPS had left our first Christmas present--a Wii! So, needless to say, each evening this week has been busy playing the Wii!

So, today after church and lunch, we got the Christmas decorations down from the attic--Luke loves to get up there the "help" Freddie. Avery exclaimed --socks!! when she spotted the stockings, and then proceeded to put them on, but she felt that she needed to take her pants and socks off first.

The kids had a great time looking at all the ornaments and remembering making some of them. Once we were done, we enjoyed a lemon swizzle? Is that what they are called? I saw the peppermint sticks at Wal-mart and then decided to go back and buy some lemons. I have fond memories of getting these lemon treats from the concession stand in Anson, Texas after playing basketball.
